Delete your account & data
Planoptx offers account sign-up (email/password and magic link via Supabase). Apple requires that you can delete your account. This page explains how.
Option 1 — Request by email (available now)
- Send an email from the address linked to your account to ayan.rchowdhury@outlook.com with the subject line Account deletion request.
- We will verify ownership and delete your account within 30 days (usually sooner).
- You will receive a confirmation email when deletion is complete.
Option 2 — In the app (when available)
A Delete account control will be added under Profile in a future update. It will sign you out, remove your Supabase auth user, and delete synced trip data from our database.
What is deleted
- Your Supabase authentication account (email, profile metadata)
- Trips, day plans, activities, expenses, budgets, checklist items, and bookings stored in our cloud database and linked to your user ID
- Premium entitlement records associated with your account on our servers (if any)
What may remain
- On-device data in the Planoptx app until you uninstall the app or clear its data — deletion of cloud data does not automatically erase local SwiftData on your phone. Uninstall Planoptx after account deletion to remove local copies.
- Apple purchase history — handled by Apple; we cannot delete App Store transaction records.
- Backups and logs — encrypted database backups may persist up to 90 days before rotation. Server logs may retain IP addresses or error traces for a limited security retention period.
What is not stored on our servers
- On-device Apple Intelligence prompts (processed on your iPhone when supported)
- Saved receipt and booking proof images — stored only on your device and never uploaded to our servers (uninstall the app to remove them)
